More guitar loop pedal sales!!!!
In the last post I told you that I made the first real sale. This was pretty encouraging and made me want to make this work now.
I’m really happy to say that i’ve had another four pedals sold through the site. One of the pedals doesn’t even feature on the site, but through checking out one pedal, they bought another.
Here’s a screenshot of the sales on this site so far…

Redesigning the site
Up until about six weeks ago, the site was mainly in a blog format with a few links to pedals.
Then I tried making it look like a shop.
I wasn’t happy with either of these, so I then consulted a few Internet Marketing friends on a forum and they suggested that I created the site as a review site.
Creating a review site
I really didn’t want to spend a lot of money on this, so I spent a while looking for a WordPress review theme to transform what I already have into a review site. The best one I could find is the Product Review WordPress Theme.
It’s very easy to implement for anyone that has used WordPress a bit. Also, it has a video tutorial to take you through.
The next step then was getting the reviews. As I told you in an earlier post, my brother was the person that gave me the idea for this, so he’s the one I asked to help me write the reviews.
He did a great job.

Building more authority
By doing all of the above, I have now started to see sales coming through. In the next post i’ll share with you the traffic i’ve been getting and where it’s coming from.

nice… i was so interested in that theme but its just to expensive for me…:(anyway hoping to have at least the same success story…:(
It’s worth investing in though if you can make that money back in sales.
Hey Chris,
Congrats on a fine effort! It looks like you’ve found great a niche and I’ll be definitely keeping an eye on this.
Thanks Tyrone.
Hi Chris,
Just found the challenge and have really enjoyed reading your posts. Any plan for an update soon?
Interested in hearing some results on the new review site that you changed over to, looks good.
cheers,
Hi Chris,
Great posts I’d say better than most who took part in this challenge. Some great new ideas on here. How are the sales going? Any udpates now? Good luck
Hi David. I’ll be doing an update really soon.
Excellent to see your Sales report. I am sure that you made a killing in Nov/Dec due to the shopping seasons.
Do you have any update on your Niche Duel Site? Thanks!
Hi Kent, thanks for your encouragement.
I’ll be honest, the sales dropped a bit in November. I made five sales in December (not all pedals).
The reason it dropped in November was that the ranking dropped on Google. I’ll blog about all this very soon.
Have some suggestions for page optimization.
You can use your post title instead of “HERE IS OUR FULL REVIEW” “HERE IS OUR FULL REVIEW of Boss RC-20XL Loop Station” and “OUR FINAL CONCLUSION on Boss RC-20XL Loop Station”. This will bring more visitors.
Your meta description shows only post title, I suggest using excerpt from post body.
Also have a question, why you are not using adsense or other advertisers to increase revenue?
I also wonder about your latest affiliate income from niche site. good luck.
Hi Veppa, those are some GREAT suggestions.
I have thought about Adsense, but wasn’t sure where to put the ads. Any suggestions??
You can try one of this 5 layouts that will have good CTR. http://www.nichepursuits.com/5-simple-adsense-layout-examples-for-increasing-click-through-rates/
I am using layout similar to layout4. Which has good CTR.
Thanks Veppa. Would you add the adsense to the blog posts or the reviews? Or both?
